Her platform highlights discourse surrounding identity, colourism, representation and sexuality.Championing Tamil and queer representation, Sheerah graced Gay Times’ July 2023 Digital Fashion Cover, British Vogue’s July 2022 ’50 years of Pride’ issue alongside other queer trailblazers. Campaigns include Savage x Fenty, Charles Jeffery, Dipetsa and a powerful cameo in Beyoncé’s ‘Brown Skin Girl’ visuals. Anarchic, outspoken, with a calling to champion the marginalised, Sheerah is a genuine and spirited activist. Celebrating their identity as a young, queer, Tamil womxn and highlighting the longstanding oppression & discrimination faced by her community, Sheerah has received features by Vogue India, BBC and Cosmopolitan India.
